On 3/4/17 the firefighters of Kinsey Vol. Fire Department and members of the Goose Creek Lake Fire Department participated in a live fire training with a structure that was donated to us. Our crews used this structure to practice interior firefighting and on scene radio communications. On top of training a few firefighters were also doing some public relations with a family that stopped by. Your firefighters are always training to better serve the community!
****BURN BAN IN EFFECT****
The Kinsey Volunteer Fire Department would like to extend a letter we received from the Ste. Genevieve County Commission to our residents. Effective immediately there is a burn ban for the entire county of Ste. Genevieve. Thank you everyone for understanding.
THE NEWEST ADDITION TO OUR FLEET!!!
The members of the Kinsey Vol. Fire Department are proud to announce that we should hopefully be taking delivery of a new(to us) rescue pumper either later this month or march. This truck will be replacing our current rescue which is due for replacement. With the delivery of this truck we hope to be able to lower homeowner insurance more and be able to have a back up pumper incase of heavy call volume. The new 7561 has seating for 4, has a high pressure cascade to fill our scba bottles, all tools and some hoses come with it is a 1250 pump, 500 tank, and a 30 gallon foam tank. We would like to thank Affton Fire Protection District for allowing to purchase this truck and for working with us.

This truck was put in service today and will be responding to calls immediately. Thanks again to the Conservation Dept we greatly appreciate it.
